Mrs. Phipps is a learning differences specialist with an emphasis on dyslexia, ADHD, and /or autism spectrum disorders. A certified Elementary and Special Education teacher, with a Masters in Literacy, she is licensed in the Davis Methods and provides individualized correction programs that make a real difference in the lives of students and families. It has been her long term goal to open a tutoring facility to serve families in every aspect of life. Mrs. Phipps provides specialty programs, as well as creates and supervises the learning plans for the individuals served at the center.

Ms. Tawnya GrayTutor
Ms. Gray is excited to bring her talents to help and encourage her students! She has a wealth of experience in early childhood education, ran her own preschool for several years, and most recently has been working in a local school as a paraprofessional. Ms. Gray is a creative artist and uses her talents in multi-sensory ways to encourage her students to work hard.

Mrs. Leigh SimmonsTutorMrs. Simmons has an amazing heart for young people. She has spent several years serving the community schools as a paraprofessional, speech/language aide, and beloved substitute teacher! She and her family are music lovers and you can find her at the many recital and orchestra performances in the area. Leigh has a degree in sociology from the Utah State University.

Mrs. Baker has extensive experience working with students of all abilities--from life-skills to academic tutoring. Mrs. Baker specializes in building social bridges and meeting each student where they are at to help them meet their goals. With a degree in Elementary and Special Education, Mrs. Baker combines experience and knowledge to help her students to achieve success.

Mr. Ken SimmonsTutor
Mr. Simmons is retired Navy who is a long-time Fruitland resident with 20-years experience working in the IT industry. He has a Masters of Science in Telecommunications from Southern Methodist University and is currently teaching at TVCC. Mr. Simmons is available to assist those students who have needs in higher-level mathematics.

Mrs. Carrie HollawayTutor
Mrs. Hollaway has many years of experience working with students in the school setting. She currently works as an elementary school librarian, where she guides students in their path to literacy! Mrs. Hollaway uses her "Gung Ho!" attitude to address middle school and high school executive functioning skills.

Mrs. Jessica ParksTutor
Mrs. Parks is a great example of academic hard work producing success! After graduating from high school in only 3 years, Jessie has gone on to complete her CNA and become a certified phlebotomist. She is currently taking coursework to become a medical assistant and works as a paraprofessional at a local school. Jessie connects well with children of all ages, and has a special way with young adolescents.

Mrs. Kathy FlandersTutorMrs. Flanders has years of experience working with young people. From sharing her faith as a Religious Education teacher to being a member of the adjunct faculty of Treasure Valley Community College teaching Criminal Justice, Mrs. Flanders relates to people of all ages and walks of life. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology and currently teaches private music lessons at her studio in Nyssa, Oregon.

Mrs. Jeanne HurdTutorMrs. Hurd retired from teaching full time after 20-years of service to our communities! She is a well-loved substitute in the local elementary schools and has helped Payette with their summer school for several years. Our students are blessed with her dedication and expertise in the area of literacy. Mrs. Hurd works with students of all ages and specializes in working with our youngest students.

Mrs. Mallory handles the scheduling and financial information for the Tutoring Center. With her years of business management and bookkeeping experience, Mrs. Mallory keeps the center running like clockwork! Behind the scenes or behind the front desk, she will welcome you with a smile and task oriented attitude!
